About

Three founders. One direction.

AEM Systems grew out of a shared interest in software, AI and building a business. What began as experimenting, building and swapping ideas turned into a company with one clear goal: making technology more accessible and more usable for businesses.

We combine design, development, software and AI to build digital solutions that make processes simpler and help businesses move forward.

The name

Three letters. Two meanings.

  1. Ahmetcan Automate
  2. Emirhan Elevate
  3. Mick Modernize

AEM are our initials. At the same time, those three words describe exactly what we set out to do with the company: automate processes, take businesses to a higher level and modernise digital systems.

Our story

A new era calls for different solutions.

Technology is developing faster than ever. AI, automation and modern software are changing the way businesses work, but far from every business is benefiting from that yet.

Among small and medium-sized businesses in particular, we saw a clear gap. New technology is often expensive, complicated, or simply still feels too new. As a result, processes stay manual, systems stay fragmented and opportunities go unused.

That is where we saw an opening. Not to make technology more complicated, but to make it simpler. To bring websites, software and AI together into solutions that genuinely improve something: less manual work, smarter processes and systems that can grow along with a business.

That is how AEM Systems came about.

Why we started

From interest to something we wanted to build ourselves.

We had been interested in software, AI and the development of digital products for a long time. At the same time, we saw how much was technically possible and how little of it was actually being put to use by many businesses.

Instead of only talking about it, we wanted to start building ourselves.

We began with websites, applications, neural networks and AI agents. Not everything we built was meant to be sold straight away. Sometimes we built something simply because we wanted to find out how far we could go.

That mentality has stayed. We like to challenge ourselves to build something better, smarter or more efficient than the time before. Not because every project has to be complicated, but because for us quality does not stop the moment something “works”.

We build because we like to build.

Not every idea starts with a client. Sometimes it starts with curiosity.

Small team, short lines

You talk to the people who build it.

At AEM there is no layer between the client and the project team. The conversation held at the start of a project reaches the same people who make the plan, design it and develop it.

That means short lines, quick decisions and direct communication throughout the entire project.

And if we think something is not needed, we say so. We don't sell a template as custom work, we don't recommend a subscription because it happens to earn more, and we would rather turn a project down than build a solution we don't stand behind.

Transparency over sales.

The team

The people behind AEM.

Ahmetcan Akin

Sales / Strategy / Client relations

Within AEM, Ahmetcan is the link between the client and the solution. He works on strategy, sales and client contact, and makes sure a technical idea also matches what a business actually needs. His focus is on understanding the challenge behind an enquiry: not selling something straight away, but first working out which solution genuinely makes sense.

Education
ICT Business IT Management — third year

Emirhan Akin

AI / Design / Development

Within AEM, Emirhan focuses mainly on AI, software development and design. From automations and AI agents to new applications of machine learning. His interest lies above all in the question of how AI can be not just impressive, but genuinely useful inside a business.

ICT Business IT Management — fourth year

Mick Kossen

Design / Development / Operations

Within AEM, Mick works on the design and technical development of digital products, as well as the day-to-day operation behind projects. His focus is on combining engineering and design: not only making sure something works well, but that it feels logical and looks good.

How we work

From challenge to growth.

From challenge to plan

We don't start with the technology, but with the problem. What needs to be better, faster or simpler?

From plan to solution

From design and development to automation and AI: we build what is needed, and nothing because it happens to sound fashionable.

From launch to growth

A project doesn't stop the moment it goes live. We look at how a solution can be improved, extended or automated further.

What we stand for

We build as if it were for ourselves.

We like speed, but not at the expense of quality. We like new technology, but we only use it when it adds something. And we would rather keep a solution simple than make it complicated to look impressive.

Transparency, personal contact and honest advice are therefore an important part of how we work.

In the end, we don't want to be the company that sells the most technology.

We want to be the company that knows which technology pays off.
